Gee whiz, it was on like Donkey Kong in the 2nd quarter! I know you'd say it was nothing compared to 20 years+ ago; for 2009 it was a ripper.

Looked alright from what they showed on the fifth qtr. More money into the AFL pocket for that one

Yeah, the AFL doesn't like that stuff, but must be happy it does happen for that reason.

Jake King and Alan Didak were exchanging words with each other throughout the whole match, that was funny.

I didn't watch much of the game, but from the bit I saw, the boundary rider made mention that when Didak and King came off for a rest, Didak kept giving it to King even while they were on the bench.

yeh, blowing him kisses and what-not! good ol fashion niggle!

hislop was out of line though later in the game. lucky he didnt make 100% contact to the back of shane o'bree's head with his elbow, could have been ugly. one would suggest that young hislop can have the rest of the season off come tuesday night.

on the game itself, i think (specially in the first half) richmonds decision making was just plain terrible. continually handballing to flat-footed team mates that were already manned up, and just their blatant skill errors were something generally seen in country B grade footy. not being able to catch the ball, not being able to pick up the ball etc....

That blue was good fun to watch.
Did you see how the skills deteriorated for the following 10 minutes afterwards though? Everyone was waiting to be the next one hit.
I'm not sure if that says anything about either side, probably that they're not used to that sort of thing any more and it shakes the boys up a bit.

Hislop was running around trying to be an enforcer prior to that incident with O'Bree.
