couldnt find a thread about him already, sorry if there is one! but......
as much as i dislike the crows, i really hope trent does well tonight. i wouldnt wish his run of injuries upon anyone, and as his time is running out, with guys like tippett, porps and (sometimes) walker, i hope he not only gets through tonight ok, but also does enough to not only keep his spot in the crows 22 for the remainder of the season, but also warrant a new contract at seasons end (i assume his contract is up at the end of the year?) i dont like hearing stories about bad luck, such as bowen lockwood and fitzy.
GOOD LUCK TRENT!

He impressed me last week vs Norwood. Such a smart player but looked strong and hope he goes well tonight.

The snap goal from the pack last night was superb.
That's the sort of talent he brings to the side.

To be honest the bloke was lucky to be in the position he was to get the 4 goals he got. ( that may be hard )
I rate the bloke when he was in his prime but he's no longer in it & he'll struggle to hold his place in the Crows forward line.
Taylor Walker is the answer in that position yet its got me f....d why they aint sticking with him.

I tend to agree that Walker is the better long term prospect but pretty hard to stick with him in the short term when he got -6 DT points last week!

Taylor Walker may be the future answer, but he is still learning not to expect to just be a receiver of the ball. From what I heard of the last Norwood match he is beginning to get the idea.
Hentschel had learned that lesson and was an active ball-winner before his injury - I just hope his body holds up this time.

Without Trent it would have been another loss.

I like the idea of Trent being a foil to Kurt, with Burton playing a little further up the ground and up the wings at times.

With Burton to come back, could create a handful of problems for the opposition.

The main issue for the Crows is winning the midfield battle, otherwise it doesn't matter what forward options we have, in my opinion to do that in finals we need the likes of Mackay and Dangerfield back in the side.

Unless Trent gets an injury before the end of the season he has shown enough for another contract. 100% deadset certainty.
