Suggestion for Karen - do not offer an odd number of response choices as it will increase errors of central tendency. Eg people pick box 4 in the middle of 7 when they can't immediately decide an answer. 6 boxes means they have to commit to one side or the other.
Good luck with the survey - post an update on your findings sometime!

Would you like to win a $50 shopping voucher?
Tell me why you do or don't watch the footy and you can enter the draw to win one of nine $50 shopping vouchers!
All it takes is two easy steps:
1. Go to: http://adelaide.qualtrics.com/SE?SID=SV ... &SVID=Prod
2. Fill out the survey and enter your contact details once completed!
My name is Karen Palmer and I am studying Honours in Marketing at the University of Adelaide. I am interested in why people watch Australian Rules Football and would like to invite you to participate in my survey!
All responses will remain confidential and answers will only be reported in aggregated form so that no individual will be identifiable within the analysis or from any report presenting the results of the survey.
The survey takes about 12 minutes to complete. Go to the link above to fill out the survey. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at karen.palmer@adelaide.edu.au or my supervisor, Dr. Carolin Plewa at carolin.plewa@adelaide.edu.au.
Thanks for your support and best of luck!
Karen
