With Port's up and down win/loss streak, you have to tip the Power this week.
Port by 40+ points.

I was just thinking that the other day mate ... This time around though Port DO have finals to look forward to and aren't at the same low level of last year.
If they can avoid Richmond uncovering a Cleve Hughes type to bang home 6 for the Tiges, Port will be fine ... Port should do it very comfortably I'd think, 40+ is a fair call.
Richmond travelled well in Sydney a few backs, but I think their dangerous types are probably players Port have good matchups for, and Port will hurt them more on the board than the Swannies did.

Must be a fair chance that this game could break the record for most possessions in a football game ever....which will please the Dream Team enthusiasts but most likely not the supporters of either club.

Everyone seems too confident here - if the team is, too, Richmond just might get up..

Port aren't streets ahead of anyone. On their day they can record a decent win but when they don't turn up to play they'll get done. Just like about 13 other sides. Fancy losing to the Roos they are rank.

REB

Quite a disappointing game, extremely lucky to get the win, but in saying that last year Port would have lost by 5 or 6 goals.
Fortunately Tredders had a day out!

I feel quite silly now, last year i was calling for Tredrea to go but this year he turns it all around and is carving up!
Tredrea is currently equal lead in the Coleman with 27 goals.

From a neutral perspective, I thought it was a pretty exciting game .. Must admit I thought Port were done but they scrapped a couple (Ill bet Charlie Chaplin is more thankful than most) and then the great man got them over the line ... Always a huge positive to win a close game that you had to gut's out to get the points, but there's some worrying signs about Ports.

There are some worrying signs, the midfield intencity and work rate in the last 5 mins should have been there the whole game.
Its lucky they won or Chaplin would have dug a hole and buried himself in that goal square. Glad they won, 2 consecutive losses by under a goal would have been disasterous for their season.
The way they finished just shows what happens when you play direct football as well.
