Ex Carlton FC President Richard Pratt dies

Condolences to family, friends etc.

However: The company he chaired, his company from the ground up, still cheated customers, companies and therefore hard-working Australians out of $700 million. His company was then only fined $36 million, a paltry 0.75% of Pratt's estimated fortune.

Charges against him lying and perjuring in court were dropped on account of his ill health, but the Commonwealth prosecution was 100% confident that their case was sufficient enough to see criminal charges laid against him.

Of course they're going to say that. They need to try and redeem themselves somehow.

What I also love is that AMCOR were just as guilty, but people choose to gloss over that.

I've paid my respects to Mr Pratt in the Carlton thread.

I'll try to stay out of this thread, and let the vultures in....
