Its not the same with 'suck hole' Jimmy Hird on the show. He doesnt have a crack at anyone and stays in everyones good books with his drab comments. Bring back Wallsy ....PLEASE.......

what are your thoughts? Mr 'Nice Guy' has to GO

I dont like Robert Walls so IMO anyone is better than him, having said that I am not a big fan of Hird as he is the all round Mr.Niceguy.

So I am note voting for Wallsy but someone other than Hird would be good, perhaps Terry Wallace can get a spot on there in the next week or two. Wouldn't that be good, bitter twisted recently sacked coach on the Chesterfield.

LOL .. Probably not reacting as harshly as to say let Jimmy go, but I agree that the show was better with Robert Walls on it ... I don't agree with a lot of what Wallsy says (quite a lot), but I must admit I like the firm way he stands by his beliefs and doesn't skirt around issues or sit on the fence.

I actually watched the show on Ten HD last night for the first time, and then watched On The Couch, and wondered if they both have the same producers or something, because they were virtually identical in subject matter last night.

The less of Wallsy on TV and Radio the better. At every Geelong game you can guarantee his special comments will be 'there was a competition between Johnson and Mooney for most assists last season' and 'Harry Taylor this or Harry Taylor that'. The way he gets into a second year player pisses me off something rotten.

Say what you like about Hird but at least he doesn't carry prejudice and grudges around for nearly twenty years like Walls does. Fair dinkum Wallsy, that 37 goal spree was way back in 1992 let it go and just enjoy the way Geelong plays today. Oh that's right...he can't.

******* hate Robert Walls. Hird poos on him from a great height.

Jimmy is way to nice to do that. Perhaps David Parkin could do it?

The only footy show worth watching now is Footy Classified. Still liking the fact Grant Thomas replaced Glenn Archer.

As I said before the season Hird was just going to ruin On The Couch.

Agree with that, except I don't care for Thomas' opinons much.
Craig Hutchison gives me the irrits as well.

Don't mind Caro or Lyon.

First time I've watched it this season and I wondered why Hirdy had to tread carefully when he spoke of Scott McLaren. Or was he just taking the mickey?

I like Robert Walls because he says what he feels and backs it up. Some people don't, that's fine, I do.

I'd rather Wallsy on there than Hird, but given time Hirdy might loosen up and have an opinion. Mind you, I did think his comment about Sheedy caretaking at Richmond was a valid one.

Haven't watched On The Couch yet this year so can't comment on Hird, but I am one of those people who thinks Robert Walls is an idiot. I would take David Parkin, who I think expresses his understandings of the game and its issues really well, over Walls any day of the week.

Don't know how anyone can enjoy watching sour face Caroline Wilson. She's got a face for radio. Hutchinson is a complete tool. Two reasons why I don't like Footy Classified.
