Last time around?

As with every year, we'll no doubt lose some players to retirement who have been good or great over the years ... Usually we don't acknowledge them until after retirement has been announced, but if you've enjoyed watching any of the blokes on the following list (and any others posters want to add), it could be worth seeing as much of them as possible this year in case it's their last (obviously not all these blokes will hang the boots up just yet).
Brad Johnson
Jason Akermanis
Simon Goodwin
Andrew McLeod
Tyson Edwards
Matthew Richardson
Joel Bowden
Barry Hall
Michael O'Loughlin
Leo Barry
Brendan Lade
Simon Black
Dean Soloman
David Wirrapunda
Scott Lucas
Dustin Fletcher
Matthew Lloyd
Simon Prestigiacomo
Anthony Rocca
Adam Simpson
Any here that are definite to continue or any others that could fit the list, feel free to add.

I think Akermanis has already said this will be his last season, hasn't he?
Haven't enjoyed his footy as much since he's been a Bulldog but he was sensational as a Brisbane Lion.

Personally I thought he'd go around again next year, but I would have thought that would see him out, not sure he's worth another contract after that though

Only dodgy guess on that list is Simon Black.
I think he has 3-4 years left.

To be honest, I wasn't sure of his age but it just feels like he's been around for a dozen years

Tyson Edwards apparently wants to go on (according to 5AA) one more year but whether he does, we'll see
From Geelong, Milburn and Harley might pull the pin at the end of the year as both hinted at it after last year IIRC
You have to feel for Richo because he might retire only having played only 1 or 2 (?) finals.

it will be interesting to see how many games he finishes with, is up to 308 now, with out injuries he will pass 350 in his last year of his contract and turns 34 at the end of the season. so i could se him going two more seasons after this and playing about 370 games.

No one from Carlton is over 30 so can't see any age retirements for a couple of years yet.

Retire with a Coleman to your name, has a nice ring to it.

Think Nick Stevens could be added to the list and will stick my neck out and say that if he doesn't retire at season's end the decision could be made for him.

Actually, I hope he retires at the end of this year. Soft, softer and softest. He makes a good ad for toilet tissue.
