The Demons will obviously struggle, but i think they will win a few more games than last year. I think they may finish 15th this year.....

My Opinion: The Demons to finish 15th and struggle.

Not a bad performance on the weekend. Enough to give their supporters a bit of hope anyway. Moloney got through and was good and some of their kids showed a bit especially Cheney.

As a melbourne supporter the weekend did have its upsides, but a loss is a loss and we cant be happy. Hopefully we can get some winning form and instill some more confidence in the young lads that are in the side. Defenately dont want to make the wooden spoon a habit.

The Demons have been doing alright lately, they haven't been flogged by a huge margin in a while.

But this week they may, they are playing the Cats.

There are certainly some winnable games coming up for the Dees in the second half of the season i.e.

Port, West Coast, Fremantle, (all at home to non-Vic teams), Richmond and North Melbourne.

I reckon Dean Bailey would want to rack up at least 3 wins from these particular fixtures if he wants to coach a 3rd season!

in career best form, and really hope he can put all the off field dramas behind him for good, and get on with what he does best, and that is by far play the game of footy.

Rumour is that he requires surgery.

Great news, grimes is a DT king! and martin is going to be a very good backliner/backup ruckman.

Agreed, has a touch of class, and is the perfect small forward. Just needs some sort of supply.

Touch of class? C'mon people, he has been the only bloke for the last 5 or 6 years ( bar Neitz ) who have had the ball kicked to him on the rare occasions Melbourne get the ball forward of centre.

Over rated IMO, I dont think Robbo would have made it in a top 4 team for the last 5 years.

He's hardly been on the park in the last couple of years so to judge him on that is a bit unfair. It wasn't that long ago that the Robbo and Nietz combination was a real handful and Melbourne were regular finalists.

Are you trying to say that is not good???? Kidding me.

I'd still say that is an excellent return for a small forward who has had limited supply for the mojority of his career, in a team that has struggled to kick goals.
