Surely Port ant as sh*t as as Melbourne. If they loose at home to Molbourne they are the laughing stock of the comp no matter the excuse.

Port by 5 goals

My tipping comp could hinge on this game.

Don't let me down.

For once...

That's the worst one they've come up with, and some of the others have been shockers.
What is wrong in the administration?
I can see now why Brogan may want to go to Carlton!

Dunno why they persist with this primary school guernsey design competition?

They should let the ten year-old winner coach for the day...

They may unearth some coachng talent that way - its worth a try.
I really do think Port would have done better than one Premiership under another coach with less negativity of style, given the player material they had to work with at the time..

The finger should not be pointed directly at Williams, the whole coaching set up @ alberton is to in house!! I believe this is a recruiting issue.

They need to find coaches/ ex players from other AFL clubs to join the coaching team, otherwise they will only know one way, the Port Power way. This may have worked in the SANFL back in the day, but not in the modern age of footy. We need new assistant coaching from out side of Port Adelaide for new ideas.

Not bad for a franchise keen on marketing initiatives I suppose. Wouldn't be much chop for a traditional club ;)

From the AFL web site statistics for this match it looks like Peter Burgoyne has suddenly discovered his place next year is not automatic.
He is obviously putting in better than he has in months!

What a terrible terrible game. Melbourne have a litany of sins that are as long as Dumbledore's beard. They were negative from the first bounce and once Port got some confidence about them it was only a matter of time before the margin blew out. Melbourne are only just entering a very long and dark tunnell and IMO Daniher et al has a lot to answer for.
