Question about Brownlow

If a player gets through the minor rounds without getting a suspension and then gets suspended in the first week of finals is he still eligible for the Brownlow? I didn't know, as the Brownlow only counts the minor round matches. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Definitely is the case. The Brownlow is a minor round award.

Does make him ineligible for the following year though doesn't it?

Similarly if a player gets games from a GF incident, he is ineligible the following season isn't he?

Suspensions can carry over CP, but I am fairly certain that the finals are a "non-brownlow" event - no votes, no penalties.
