People are stupid mate. Bloke played over 200 AFL games and gave his all in each and everyone of them, a nicer bloke you won't meet off the field and gave everything on it. Ignore them.

Great career Charlie :YMAPPLAUSE:
An awesome forward and a good back up ruckman
What we saw this season was a player beaten by age and condition , not by ability or desire

I don’t think they should as he has been a good servant to Port but I think the reasons are;

1. Port supporters are because of the way he and the season finished
2. Adelaide supporters remember the comments/comparisons made about Dixon and Walker.

That should be a reflection on Kane Cornes, as he was the fool who trumpeted this notion

Watched this 2 min package PA media team put out with my 7yo thismorning who has liked Dixon since meeting him (as Booney says above, top bloke). He was a beast in his prime.

My disregard for the PAFC is well documented but I fail to understand how when players who have put it all on the line for their clubs are shit canned by nuffies who achieved two fifths of F All in their lives on socials.

Dixon deserves accolades not brickbats for having a 14 year career as a key forward

Watch for the return of serve next year when Tex goes. :roll:
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Not the most glamorous highlight reel but a bloody good one, the brute strength and love for the guernsey makes it that much more special.

Time waits for no man with the possible exception of Keith Richards. Just ask Hawkins how fast the end comes. I thought Port asked more than what Charlie could give towards the end but he was never not going to have a crack.

It's actually a little scary just how quickly players, particularly the bigger KPP's, hit that wall and come to the end.

Both really struggled with foot/ankle injuries at the end, can't be easy lugging that amount of bulk around a footy oval!

Him and Lycett in the same team, good luck to the other div 1 teams.
I've heard Dixon's ankle is cooked.

There was a forum topic dedicated to keyboard warriors calling AFL players duds, some were also 200 plus game players, even some club captains.
