I have a mate who's convinced the Crows still play that squawk after goals? Ive been to four matches and haven't heard it once. Haven't heard it since last year. Can someone else confirm that they don't play it anymore. Carton on the line

Also, is it really right/fair to say Thompson is the "fifth crow to play 300 games" when they weren't all played at Adelaide?

Slight technicality I think. He is the 5th crow to bring up 300 AFL games but he still needs to play for another 2 seasons for 300 club games.

That's not how it's been celebrated in all SA media outlets.
He's not in the same company as the other 4 IMO.

No.

I agree. Not in the same company as Hart, Edwards, Roo and McLeod yet.

Unreal achievement though.

Reckon Thompson has been under rated for most of his career. For quite a few years he was easily in the elite midfielder class and the numbers show that pretty consistently. Went past Mark Riccuito's club record for Brownlow votes which to me says a lot about how good he's been for a long, long time. Doesn't really make any difference that he played a few games before he came to Adelaide, it's 300 AFL games and so few were with the Demons.

Played something like 261 of a possible 267 games at the Crows, shows his durability

Did come across as a bit of a drip on the Footy Show last night

What??? Why would you think that? I thought he handled it well considering every second question or comment was about his looks
