Agreed, yours does have more in it, the 18 games being the kicker.

Almost all Port Adelaide membership packages now have a waiting list. Excellent work by the club.

Ben Demertzis is the man who leads the membership retention and growth team down at Port. Has done a massive job.

He is also the one that initiated the march from Rundle mall and look what that has grown into...

A very quiet fella but has put in the hard yards and deserves some kudos for the work he has done!

That would be just about a dream role for me. Working in the sales / marketing division at the club.

If they now all have waiting lists its time to up the cost and cash in, obviously demand is outstripping supply.

Like at any club, a marketing job is great when the team is playing well and making finals, dont think its so good when your side is struggling

Agree, I bet if you jacked it up by $50-100 nearly every one would still pay it

Despite being provisionally banned the AFL has allowed Jetta, Del'ollio, Lovett-Murray and Alwyn Davey to play in the NTFL despite all 4 receiving infraction notices.
Wouldnt think WADA would be too happy with that id imagine

Seems strange by the AFL. Obviously there will be not back dated suspensions for those guys then.

None of those are but I thought that anyone with an infraction notice was banned from all football Australia wide.
Leading player manager and lawyer Peter Jess has said that if AFL are allowing this it means ASADA's case is weak at best.
This ties into the rumour that was on SEN a couple of days ago that ASADA's own barristers have told them that they dont have a case and is recommending that they withdraw all charges. Probably just more crap though

I think ASADA and the AFL have completely differant opinions. The AFL would be more than happy for this to be thrown out and at times seem to be even baiting ASADA. Ive found it wierd that even people like Caroline Wilson have changed their tune and reckons players will be let off, she gets a lot of info from deep within AFL house and is their mouthpiece

Definitely crap. The federal government paid for ex federal judge Garry Downes to review ASADA finding. Downes findings were that ASADA have enough evidence for the players to receive bans. Downes was also the president of the appeals board, let's just say if that is his findings ASADA have enough evidence.

With the 4 deciding to play it cancel their right to provisional suspension, which means that their suspension (if found guilty) will not be backed dated. Watson and Fletcher were allowed to play in the international rules series because it wasn't a official AFL match. I always thought that once handed a infraction notices it meant you are banned from everything including being at the club. The code only states being banned from playing official AFL matches.

No one can really tell whats going to happen. I think you will find the AFL decision will be fair and what the players should get from ASADA evidence. WADA can still play apart in this and make the AFL look very stupid. Telstra have already told them to do the right thing or they are out and i'm sure there are a few others that would of said the same.

So going by the last bit if players got suspended we could play them in our VFL side to get match fitness?

No because the VFL is a official AFL match. Every football league in Australia follow AFL rules and codes.
