Let's hope so however, I reckon the AFL will factor in that this year's draft absense didn't seem a big penalty and will push the draft sanctions out to 2014.

We can't complain about the penalty when it's us that exposed us to whatever punishment comes our way.

It seems Trigg gambled his and the club's future on Tippett re-signing on in 2012 so that all the secrets stayed secret. Yet he knew Tippett was a huge flight risk. If he had concerns about the go-home deal as is being claimed he should have gone to the AFL in 2009 rather than sitting on it hoping it would never see the light of day.

The other thing to take into consideration is that the club is pleading guilty to their charges but nothing is said about how Tippett will personally plead against the two for him. There are 9 charges against the AFC plus 2 for Tippett.

Does anyone know if Tippett and the AFC blokes are all attending the hearing at the same time? Could be a bit volatile.....

Also, with most clubs getting stuck into pre-season training, is Tippett training anywhere? And if not, assuming GWS or Sydney draft him will he be up to fitness at the same time as other players who are already on the track?

I recall reading somewhere that Tippett is training by himself up on the Gold Coast

GWS are making noises about drafting him but I reckon they are bluffing and he will still end up at Sydney

You wouldn't think so. Both camps are total professionals. ;-)

Should Trigg resign now then Hondo?

So basically there are going to get what we all have thought for a while. Does this mean that handing this years picks back has had no impact?

Can't blame GWS. It's not like they have a daily newsletter like Adelaide.

Busted!!!!

Two weeks ago they couldn't wait to vigorously defend themselves.

Then theY delayed the hearing to defend themselves seperately .

Withdrew first two selections in draft.

Now pleading guilty to all charges.

How Steven trigg could even entertain keeping his job I have no idea ??? He really Must be good mates with AD.

This paragraph grabbed my attention.

Emma Quayle wrote.
"Adelaide is under enormous pressure not to let Tippett leave. He is only 22 and played just 43 games, but he is one of the club's most promising youngsters. Explaining his departure to a supporter base that has fallen in love with him would not be easy."

Now we know who is too blame.

Great summary, if any of that is true Harper and Trigg have to go, there is no way they can survive that. Harper wasnt involved in the original deal however dug the club into an even bigger hole and Trigg must have known what he was doing.

Get rid of them and the club has a chance to move on

If this version is true, then the AFL have every right to throw the book at them for stupidity alone ... and Trigg's job is goneski.
