Good luck to Jack Delean, saw a lot of him as a junior and he wasn't far off JHF imo, albeit a different sort of player, surprised he slipped to #60

Been revealed that Gillon McLachlan was being paid more than $4 million per year. Hanging around for that extra year when Andrew Dillon was in the chair comes at quite some cost.

crazy $'s, I would have thought $1.5m tops, he is nearly getting paid what top CEO's of Banks etc are getting paid, ridiculous for a not for profit organisation....

That's half what the big bank CEO's would be on.

Little bit different, one needs to perform and make Billions for their company, the other is responsible for their sport at all levels and is actually a not for profit organisation.

If I were to rate those CEO's on a respect continuum from 1-10, with 10 being top, I would have the AFL higher than all of them added together. $4m is a bit much though.

The bank CEO's - whilst lesser paid, would've got shares as well - do you know if that's included in those figures?

I think the AFL's CEO is appropriately compensated given the status of the game now.

I reckon it's been 1 week in to preseason has started and it's that time of year when the favourite lines come out.

- PBs
- Training the house down
- He's flying
- Training with the midfield group
- Put on X kgs of muscle

What else have we had so far?

My fav.

He's lost 5 or 6 kgs.

This means that he was overweight and being paid as a professional in the previous season.

It's all happening.

Teams are flying at the moment. I know we have March preminers but have we giving out the pre Xmas premiers?

The Crows have already won it with 38 of the 41 squad members recording a PB on the first day back, no one can get close to that.
Name and shame the other 3!!
