Total disdain again by the VFL not having the Showdown as a stand alone. Granted this one hasn't reached any great heights but for an organisation that calls themselve a national comp it's a disgrace.

Best on Ground, case in point. Thanks for the brief Robbie mention, totally enjoyed the Hurley interview and accolades.

Like it or not it will always be a expanded VFL and clubs willingly joined up knowing this
Correct it's all about the $$$$ for the AFL and that's why it should be more centred around the club's with the big $$$.am Bays wrote:Jim05 wrote:Always going to cater for the largest market.

Spot on Jim, continues to amaze me people complain about this. The footy media are all about Melbourne. It is still the VFL in all but name, The Tasmania debate in the recent months prove this, as long as the Melbourne clubs aren’t financially impacted and the non-Victorian clubs can pay their way, it’s heaps good….

Not as ordinary as Wedgies trolling, but ordinary.

Agreed you’d think after 20 years of FootySA and SAFooty his trolling would have improved by now
First half was ordinary, my impression from last nights game is both sets of fans can comfortably start planning their gardening for Sept 2023

Thought Fog showed glimpses but was well held (literally) for little reward. Hingey showed signs with his pressure but burnt the ball, Boak was serviceable.
Hope Tommy C is good to go round one
