Anywho, on the GF, I feel for Ceglar and think it's the wrong move by the Hawks. Hale and McEvoy are very similar and Ceglar offers something a little different IMO.

Clearly McEvoy will drop in the "the hole" in front of Buddy/Tippett/Reid/Goodes and Hale play the forward/ruck role, but I would have liked to see the Hawks attack more with Ceglar/Hale as ruck/forward combo, perhaps forcing Reid to go back to cover the extra tall.

I reckon Ceglar is stiff as well. He paid a heavy price for his effort against Port. This move seems a bit reactive. They've lost a lot of mobility and another offensive weapon. McEvoy is a decent kick but is not particularly mobile. Not a lot of Dinosaurs in that Sydney outfit. Not too sure about Cyril's inclusion either. He's played what, three quarters in ten weeks or something like that? Sewell unlucky for mine but I understand that it was Simpkin who was the Hawk sub. I reckon Cyrl might be the sub for the Hawks.

Hawks looked slow and tired for much of last week, fair gamble bringing in two potentially underdone blokes (albeit one can win a game off his own boot)

I fear a blow out is on the cards and as much as I hope for a good even contest I reckon Sydney -39.5 is my bet of the day

Accuracy: This doesn't need much explanation. Poor kicking in front of the sticks cost Geelong in 2008, St Kilda in 2009, Hawthorn in 2012, Fremantle in 2013, while Collingwood got lucky in 2010. I know first-hand how painful losing a grand final can be because of poor kicking. We (North) lost to the Crows in '98 because we missed so many shots in the first half. I'd much prefer to lose a game by being beaten by a better side, rather than blowing it due to basic skill errors.

Awesome insight wasn't it, I loved it. It's a lonely existence being a coach and the doco gave me more respect for not just AFL coaches but all coaches in all levels of football.

Hahaha that made me laugh, seems really odd IMO being a professional organisation and still using all the clichés that we'd use at my club. It really doesn't matter what level of footy it is a coaches message, what they right on a whiteboard or how they talk to their players isn't really that different.
