I still think its pretty cool that almost 100 years to the day, 2 sets of brothers will play against each other in a GF, with identical ladder positions proportional to the elder / youngest sibling.

Stat or not I still think Freo will win.

I cant believe it's only the 2nd time in history brothers have squared off in a Grand Final

Its been close over the last few seasons, with the Selwood's and the Reid's & Shaw's squaring off in prelim finals.

not denying if its a cool stat or not, but for afl.com.au to say freo would win based on that is so stupid they shouldn't of even written it as a joke

the stat about the last 5 times the top defensive team has played the top attacking team the defensive team has won is a far better stat than a once off that happened 100 years ago.

Would like to know more about this stat. Ie where did the best attacking teams defence rank?
I would think Hawks defence is fairly good as well, keeping $dyney to 51 whilst the Dickers let in 70 or 80 odd didnt they?

And Hawks didnt take foot of the pedal in qualifying final.

This will be the most one sided final since 2007. Yeah the Dockers put a bit of pressure on the $ydney defence, but $ydney defence had big holes in it with the inexperience of Rampe and Biggs back there and Grundy fumbling everything all finals series for some reason, put simply they panicked. Certainly didn't have the experience and assuredness of the Hawks defence.

If Hawks lose, he won't be on his computer I'll give you the strong tip. He'll be down at his local playground getting his satisfaction there instead.
