I dont believe that any of the sides outside of the 8 should get in, if all results go as expected this week you could possibly finish 3 games out and make it! Its dumb, let Essendon play thier one maybe 2 weeks in the finals and sort it out after the season is done. Not one team outside the top 4 has a chance of winning it anyway IMO. Losing draft picks is the only real way to penalise a side, taking away points only punishes the fans and players and IMO they are not at fault here.
