Too bad Sydney get an extra $900k a year, then the competition would be even.

Freo have put the Blues to the sword tonight
Carlton will be relying on us losing our points to play finals, cant see them making it otherwise.
Freo will have a big say in the finals, very good side

Freo have an easy draw to finish the minor round too, so will get a top 4 finish.

v GSW
@ Melbourne
v Port Adelaide
@ St Kilda

Freo too much pressure causing too many turnovers. Final margin not really indicative of the game as it was close for the majority of the night.

Long way to go but get on Sydney for a repeat is my prediction

And Port still have showdown, freo, Geelong and the decider against Carlton. So that 8th spot still up for grabs

I agree, the Sydney Cons will win it, the AFL will make sure their money is well spent.

If the extra money made a difference, Sydney would have won a lot more than 2 in 30 years. Gold Coast would have won 1 by now. GWS next year. i guess some of the other clubs could just cheat.

Up in the air about Essendon or Collingwood today? Both can be really good, or really bad. Any supporters give me their thoughts.

Not that it mattered to me, but why the hell was Melb v GWS on TV rather than Hawks v Tigers. Christ Channel 7 deserves to get the flick. They pay so much money for the rights then treat their audience with contempt. Atrocious.

Im worried about today.
Wet day at the G doesnt suit us at all.
Cant see where our goals will come from, need someone to step up.
Pies midfield is a lot stronger than ours
We should win the rucks easily, hopefully Jobe can have an influence.
See their defence as a weekness, hopefully Gumby can clunk a few.
Reckon there will only be 1-2 goals in it either way
