Agree, hard to see how he gets a game ahead of Currie who was a standout in the pre season and dominated the SANFL last year.

How many white Australians flee from a war torn nation to play AFL footy? That's pretty bloody exciting.
Let alone the excitment he may bring to the game with his skills if he lives up to potential.
There are white Australians who have gained plenty of attention in this game at the start of their careers for being who they were....GAJ, Jobe, Scarlett, Hird, even Primus - all following their family's legacy into the game.
Daw is starting his own legacy.

I agree wholeheartedly. I have followed Daw's progression since he first arrived at Arden St knowing full well he would eventually play league footy.
I didn't explain myself properly in my previous post.
Majak's story is amazing and made up of many parts. One being his nationality. Every interview/article done about Daw makes reference to this. So in part, his story is about race - and will be viewed differently by many.
I never have and never will have an issue with race and was simply making a point (just not clearly enough).

Definately not a spud but doesn't he go missing! Towards the end he had the chance to do a Tommy Hawkins but bottled it. In fact the whole team bottled it. They had plenty of opportunities to ice that game but couldn't go on with it.
