Yeah that was brilliant, felt the television move

That's the only time I've seen someone knocked over Pickett. Pickett went for the leveller and Jars just side stepped him and goaled 8)

When vossy was poleaxed by burns in 02, only to get straight back up and fire a handball to black for a goal. Stirring stuff!
Loved how he gave it to burns afterwards too!

Daniel Chick's 3 one-per-centres that gave the Eagles the winning goal in 2006

Disagree about 1995 there was a big difference between those two sides and how they performed all year.

In 94 The Cats really struggled and battled through with a courageous final win (against Carlton with no Couch, Bairstow and Hocking) and a dead lucky win (against North) along the way. During 95 the Cats were clearly the second best side and only lost to Carlton by three points and that match was at Princess Park. During the finals Geelong smashed the Dogs and Richmond and the way we performed (or rather didn't perform) on the big day ranks for me as my most disappointing day as a Cat fan.

Surely 1992 or 2008 would hurt more than 1995 REB?

...and it was one of my most enjoyable. The cats didn't play well at all that day. I was expecting a much closer contest.

Geelong 89-95 is head and shoulders clear as the best side to have not win a flag in the games history. The tallent that side had was fantastic unfortunately for them coming up against 3 of the all time great sides in those finals stopped them from winning @ least 1 in that era....

Apart from 89, did struggle in GFs though. Still a gun, only behind Carey in my opinion.

Seeing Mickey O get his premiership medallion.
Leo Barry's mark.

The 1990 brawl between Collingwood and Essendon.

Chapman's performance in 09 (?)

I remember bugger all of the 2010 Collingwood premiership and still haven't watched it again - it had been one of the craziest weeks of my life. But I do remember Alan Didak's smother on the 50 metre arc and then his recovery of the ball to kick a goal. I thought that was pretty special.
I have a beaut photo of that day with my five day old daughter in her humidicrib and me wearing my Collingwood scarf.
Also, the next day was pretty special as well. I rocked up to Footy Park, wearing a Collingwood t-shirt, and celebrated as the Dogs won another flag. I remember bugger all of that day either and not due to drink, just a pure wave of emotion washing over me.

Malceski's goals. Right man, right time.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Snr was just that in the other Grand Finals. Aged 32,34 and 35. They didn't 'manage' the older blokes back then. Brennan and Silvangi were better than your average fullbacks too just quietly.
