Gary Ablett tweeting about Crowley also pissed me off, because he was implying that Crowley was only playing defensive. But I watched that game, and he did a massive job of keeping Juddy quiet, while at the same time kicking 3 goals on Juddy. Fair effort if you ask me. Played both ways.

I think little old Gaz is just spewing that he took the cash to go to a side thats going to struggle, and no one really talks about him, or cares what he's doing because hes not in the Melbourne scene anymore.

I'm pretty sure Roo and Gaz are more qualified in this department than yourself HH3 after experiencing tagging tactics both legal and illegal for their whole careers at the level, rather than what you can see on a flat screen. If a defender held the jumper, blocked a run, or didn't keep his eye on the ball while trying to stop a lead or spoil the forward it's a free kick every time, why should the midfield be any different.

As for your last statement, WTF are you for real

They should just play the Crows Geelong game around 4am Sunday morning, they wont have Black Cavier, SANFL, Adelaide Pubs and Clubs, minimal people working at that hour and no one to compete with it will be perfect!

So you are saying Gaz and Roo have a whinge, and we should all agree with them like sheep and not have an opinion, because they played at the highest level? Righto.

Does that mean Roo's opinion is more valid then say Ross Lyon's?

No just respecting the opinions of ones with first hand experience, much like we do in every day life, rather than what we see or can't see on tv. Sorry to offend.

Its called a strategy. I just looked at Gaz's stats. 40+ possessions and 2 goals a game for the Suns. Oppositions obviously look at those players more closely. Going into a game I assume the first match up they look at would be Ablett. Stopping his run through the middle would do a lot to help win the game. Its not a new thing or fad.

If Gaz is so worried, the Suns coaches should do something about it. I see it in matches all the time. If a players being tagged, another player on their team will lay a block at a stoppage for the tagged player to get some space. The blocking player doesnt get pinged all the time either. Its tactics.
