Yeah not sure what kingy has against the cats......was humerous viewing actually.....king on one hand cant mention geelong and victory in the same sentence and mark maclure can't even say the word collingwood. Either way it will be a classic GF imo

I don't think he has anything against the Cats it's just that he doesn't rate us and he is a stubborn as. Maclure though is a Blue Boy and hates the Pies. If Kingy does hate us I reckon it's because of the 94 Prelim. I ******* always hated King as a player, ******* mouthy **** he was.

The roos have nobody to blame but themselves for the 94 prelim.....had the cats on the ropes all day iirc before sir gary kicked the winner after the siren?

Who cares what the journo's say anyway.....the football public knows we have the 2 best sides competing for the prize and thats all that matters.

No its not mattee trust me, i was barracking my backside off for the hawks (id take anybody bar adelaide or collingwood in a GF), but unfortuately it wasnt to be. Any neutral fan will look at this game and see the 2 best sides over the course of the season.

I reckon if we win he'll go for sure. If we lose he might play on but his body has to be carefully managed these days. It's time for West and Vardy next year IMO.

Johno won't play and Jolly and Reid will play at 40% and lose the game for the Pies.

I pick teams by interchange....Geelong for me easily

Does anyone think the move of starting Davis on the bench is a big mistake? We all know he has stunk up his last two GF appearances...he is likely to be the most nervous player out there. Wouldn't you want to start him so the nerves are gone early rather letting them get worse on the bench waiting to get on?

Yeah Davis on the bench is a strange move. Didak more than lucky to get a game ahead of Beams who normally goes OK against us as well. Not sure about Johnson though. Just hope we don't pick him if he's NOT fit. If he does play he only needs to jag a couple of goals to increase his output of recent matches..it's all about how much we might be hurt going the other way with him though, especially if he is on Widescreen O'Brien.

Why? He could be on within 20 seconds.

I think Geelong will win. They've been the better team when it matters most .. in September. Norm Smith? I dunno, some midfielder I guess.

beams has been listed as having a groin injury, or do most people believe it because of poor form?

Arrived in Melb a coupla hours ago and just before we hit Deere Park it was 5 degrees .. They tipping the wettest GF in 75 years over here.

I'm starting to doubt my selection now as I reckon the wet favoura the Cats .. Milburn to come in for Johnson

Davis on the bench is a strange move from the pies. Would think the best thing for him would be an early kick.....seeing as the 02 and 10 gf's registered a total of 6 possessions...
