Was wrong to predict dogs finishing top 4. They are absolute rubbish and will be lucky to make 8. Eade will be gone before seasons end if they have another performance like todays

I reckon that Duigan and Laidler have both been excellent acquisitions for Carlton as it was their backline that looked wonky last year. They are still a key tall down but Kreuzer I believe is playing in the magoos this week so they'll be keen to get some ks into his legs.

A key characteristic of a top four side is to win games when they are off and I believe Carlton has done this against Adelaide and St Kilda. The only real blip was the draw to Essendon and the fact that Carlton aren't kicking straight.

I think you are conceding too early! They have a very leaky defence.

While I thought Geelong were still top 4 material I thought they would make 4th just. ie, I predicted a small slide.

Those gun players like Selwood and co can still get it done better than anyone else despite missing Ablett

So I was wrong :o

I thought West Coast would barely win a game, maybe 3 tops. Cripes, was I wrong or what?

Join the club Booney! I can not believe there resurgence.
Cox, Embley. Glass and kerr all fit definitely helps. LeCras playing through the midfield makes it look bloody damaging. But jeeze, wouldnt have picked them winning a game by 123 points for a fair while.

I think they are a genuine shot at knocking of the pies. Their weak spot is Wood, and Cox is in red hot form. West Coasts press has been superb this year.

How do you work this out? Or are you just jumping on the Carlton has no defence bandwagon as we haven't got a big name defender like Scarlett or Rutten ?

Port Adelaide... I thought they could, on any given day, beat any AFL side... I was wrong.

They are the second most consistent side in the AFL (behind the Crows)... Consistently Shit.

Currently 3rd lowest points against in the league. Doesn't sound like it's leaking too much. Mr. Beefy you are w...w...w...w...WRONG. Must be thinking about Carltons defence in previous years.

I reckon this is where the improvement has come from. Duigan and Laidler have been handy additions to the backline and Jamison has been absolutey huge this year. It must be a worry for the Bluebaggers to see him hobbling through stages of the Port game. They should do a Geelong and give him a spell for the Brisbane game as their midfield is pretty pedestrian and this should be enough to restrict Brown.

Actually it was pretty much an opinion formed from the first game of the year where the Tiges just had to get it into forward 50 to get a goal. However, I can concede that I may be wrong. A more relevant stat for leaky defences would be if you look at goals scored from opposition inside 50s entries. Your midfield is good so takes a lot of pressure of your defence.

Just think what would of happened if he had got the Swans job. No premiership for starters.

Even when it's over he is still not taking ownership. How did he manage to coach two clubs for such a long period of time?
