Although, is Victor Harbor regional enough?

I believe Victor Harbor isn't regional enough because their TV comes from Adelaide, whereas The Riverland and South East has an association with WIN TV, while Ceduna and West Coast have Imparja or GTS (from memory)

i would also like to agree on the fact i cannot listen to a game that kellie underwood is commentating on..
i think i saw her commentating netball once, and she still sucked!

i will either mut it or turn off a game of footy rather than listen to her..

very very big try hard! reminds me of fitzy....

Boy I hope C7 lose the broadcast rights when the current deal ends. Why should I support keeping sport on FTA when they want to treat the supporters like crap. Surely they could run Better Homes and Gardens against Hey Hey it's Wednesday or put it up against the AFL match on C72. Then we will see what show rates better than the other. Personally I hope Foxtel is the winner in the next round of bidding for the rights. Up yours 7

Oh, and they wouldn't respond to my enquiry about tonights coverage.

Foxtel can't afford to get the AFL rights themselves. That's why they're the junior partner in the group with 7 & 10.

It was live into Ceduna via Southern Cross Central Seven which broadcasts from Queensland, I sent an email to check whether it would be live or not earlier in the week and they said NO but I checked yesterday and it was changed to live so yeah happy about that, pity it wsn't every week, look forward to a new deal and it happening.

I don't know why they don't have-
7:30 Better Homes & Gardens (if they must) C7
7:30 AFL live C72
8:30 AFL Delay C7 (after BH&G)

I know it is now after the event but it was live into the Riverland last night - starting at 7-00pm so much better than most other nights. If they can do it once surely they can do it every week - they seem to have no problems come finals time either.

Not allowed to show AFL on digital channels before main FTA channels or something like that.

I'm still in an area that doesn't have any of the FTA digital channels, personally reckon they should bung that woman that looks and is built like a man to digital.

Seven wins AFL media awards

Seven has had a tricky year with its AFL entertainment shows, but last night its commentary team was recognised at the Australian Football Media Association Awards.

Friday Night Football won the Most Outstanding TV Program.

For the eighth time in nine years, Dennis Cometti received the Most Outstanding Caller: Television award.

Leigh Matthews received the Most Outstanding Special Commentator: Television award.

Bruce McAvaney was highly commended in the Most Outstanding Caller: Television award.

Channel Seven Melbourne general manager Lewis Martin said, “Channel 7 is absolutely thrilled and honoured that our hard-working production and commentary teams received the recognition they deserve from their peers.

“It’s a credit to Saul Shtein, Nick Barrow and the production team, along with Dennis, Leigh and everyone at Seven.”
