SJABC I dont think Fev will get a say in where he goes. Carlton will get the best trade for him.

Wrong.

He took over the captaincy in the summer of 2006. There was problems but these problems spiralled in 2006 and 2007 when he was captain. Now i am not saying he was to blame but your timeline is a bit out of whack.

As someone else mentioned.
It's obviously the stuff that he did 'off camera' that caused the decision etc in the end,

However,

Don't know what others think,
But I didn't think the cameras 'stalking' him at his house,
While he was having family time with his kids in the pool was really necessary.
(As shown on TV last night)

What were they going to gain out of those images?

Fev is a grown man he should not need to be told to calm down and even if Judd did tell him to settle down do you really think he was in any state to listen?

So....who else should be taking the blame the for Fev's actions:

1) Chris Judd for not making him pull his head in;
2) Channel Nine for giving him a mic;
3) Crown Casino for continuing to serve him;
4) The media for persecuting him.

Anyone else?

Also his parents for conceiving the idiot in the first place !!!

Fev wont be going anywhere next year. Carlton know that no club will take him at the price he is asking, or the baggage he is carrying. At the end of the day, the Blues can then say 'Well, we tried to get rid of him, but no-one wanted him !'. Keeps the people calling for his head happy, and the supporters who want him to stay are kept happy too.

At the end of the day no-one to blame for his actions but himself, but,

# 1. Apparently Juddy was none too pleased, and has made it well known he wasn't happy with his actions. As for the night, reports are that they tried to get him to go, but to no avail.
# 2. To a degree yep. They knew he wasn't in a fit state to do the job, yet they still chose to send him out there. They then came out and said they wouldn't use the footage only for them to go ahead and use it. Ironically Eddie was the one who took Fev in after the events and tried to help him through it...
# 3. It's against the law to serve an intoxicated person. If they continued to supply his table or person with alcohol, then for sure they should be held accountable.
# 4. The media love a good story. Pity most of the people reporting on it are bottom feeders, pity the Australian media has gone down the road of being nothing but tabloid trash. Not just for Fev, but for everything. The Advertiser / Herald Sun is nothing more then glorified toilet paper, not worthy to wipe your arse on.

I made this point in an earlier post as well. Surely the Crown should be fined for breaching the terms of their liquor licence. I am amazed more hasn't been made of this to be honest and the Crown has escaped any crticism.

The Crown would say they didn't serve Fev directly and that, instead, alcohol was served to his table

I am not sure how the liquor laws handle the situation of mates buying drinks for their mates or tables being served rather than individuals

Do we really think there are no drunk people in hotels anymore? If the drunk person isn't directly buying the drinks how can it be controlled?

The law is flawed as "intoxicated" is far too vague in its description of the persons state.

Who wants Fev? Who is in a position to get him? Who needs him? These are questions on the tip of many a footy fan's tongue. Scott Gullan assesses each club's position.

ADELAIDE

Not ridiculous. With an ageing top end of their list, the Crows have maybe one real shot at the flag next year.
A one-two punch of Fev with Kurt Tippett would be scary and Adelaide very much fits the bill for the “change of environment” requirement.

Possibility: 7/10

BRISBANE LIONS

Vossy would certainly ensure Fev was on his best behaviour and the move north is a major plus. However, with Jonathan Brown and Daniel Bradshaw in the key posts, the Lions are better placed than most so probably not worth the bother.

Possibility: 5/10

CARLTON

Could be a big bluff with Fev's massive contract meaning he ends up staying. Blues would hope the big scare might cause a personality bypass.

Possibility: 5/10

COLLINGWOOD

Eddie loves him and it's fair to say Travis Cloke and Jack Anthony aren't going to win a premiership.
The challenge might appeal to
Malthouse in his last hurrah.

Possibility: 8/10

ESSENDON

Doesn't fit Bombers' youth policy and would be a massive slap in the face to outgoing legend Matthew Lloyd if they brought in Fev and placed him in the goalsquare ahead of the youngsters Lloyd was allegedly keeping out.

Possibility: 5/10

FREMANTLE

The home for misfits from Melbourne – imagine Fev in the wild west. That is a frightening thought but his presence, particularly at Subiaco, would accelerate the Dockers’ development.

Possibility: 7/10

GEELONG

No money in salary cap and no interest, particularly under its “character”
drafting policy.

Possibility: 0/10

HAWTHORN

No money in cap, and with Buddy and Roughy up front, key forwards aren't
a priority.

Possibility: 1/10

MELBOURNE

Has cash to spend and no forwards to speak of, but not sure Fev fits the Demons’ grand plan.

Possibility: 4/10

NORTH MELBOURNE

Having Footy Show host as president is a plus and the Roos have forward-line issues. Money is major stumbling block.

Possibility: 5/10

PORT ADELAIDE

Mark Williams loves rejects and Port needs a focal point post-Tredrea. Would certainly keep the ferals at Alberton entertained.

Possibility: 7/10

RICHMOND

The supporters would embrace him with open arms, given the Tigers have no one resembling a key forward. Not sure new coach Damien Hardwick needs the stress of keeping Fev under control in his first year.

Possibility: 6/10

ST KILDA

Has a couple of handy key forwards at the minute. Maybe it could swap Luke Ball for Fev and put Justin Koschitzke in the ruck.

Possibility: 7/10

SYDNEY

Ticks every box, particularly with an endless supply of cash able to cover Fev's big contract. Roosy always says the Swans can't afford to bottom out and a 100-goal full-forward will ensure that won't happen.

Possibility: 9/10

WEST COAST

Woosha once worked at Carlton so has some knowledge of Fev. And Eagles are not exactly flooded with key forwards.

Possibility: 6/10

WESTERN BULLDOGS

Desperately need him but believed to have already committed to Barry Hall. Fev's asking price would be out of reach.

Possibility: 7/10

Pretty sure he's said in the past he wouldn't come to Adelaide but that was before he was in this predicament.

According to a news report tonight, Brisbane have not ruled him out.

A forwardline with Fevola, Bradshaw and Brown, with the likes of Brennan working at their feet, would be an extremely imposing prospect.

CK I think you'd find us wanting Bradshaw in return. That'd work for me! I think he's Victorian, however I'm sure he's well and truly settled up there.
