One thing for certain..
If and I reiterate If, they squeak in to the 8 and reality is Essendon, Carlton and Port are not going well enough to totally shut the door on them, there is going to be ass twitching by some sides..

And yes the "GREAT GEELONG" is one of them..

Stay tuned... 8)

Hawthorn star Lance Franklin has been found guilty by the AFL Tribunal for rough conduct and has been suspended for two weeks.

That is a terrible decision by the tribunal.

They are ruining the game.

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!!!!!

Cannot believe what has happened to our once tough game. Staggering how a bunch of muppets are allowed to ruin it.

Well one thing is now official and that is that Australian Rules Football is no longer played in the AFL. It is a hybrid game that has slight resemblences to Aussie Rules.

AFL Website says they cant find anything wrong with the bump its whether or not he had the option to tackle. WTF? If there is nothing wrong with the bump you shouldnt be suspended. The Hawks are taking it up with Adrian Anderson tomorrow and hopefuly they take it further.........

There are plenty of people who make the wrong decision, by their team mates, not to tackle and to bump. If they decided there is nothing wrong with the bump and still suspended him then they have totally lost the plot.

RR you are right this isn't Aussie Rules football anymore.

I can see why Luke Darcy has been umpiring netball because the games are becoming very similar.

I'm just guessing NM but i reckon you may have played a bit of football in your time. Would you like to have seen yourself, a team mate or even any opposition suspended for that bump? Are you happy to see the game go down this path? What happens if a player misses a GF for that? Surely that is not right. The game at AFL level has gone down the toilet.

The tribunal has stated that the contact was reasonable but Buddy should have tackled.

WTF is this tribunal turning into. Are they all wannabe coaches? It is the coaches job to tell a player that they should have tackled.

As Mark Evans from Hawthorn said, if a player is missing two matches for reasonable actions what are they going to do for something that is unreasonable?

Heh, if he spent less time Lairising this season his team might have already qualified for the finals.

Besides, I'm glad he got 2 weeks for contesting the 1 week offer, he deserved one week, and Hawthorn deserve the 2 for questioning it, legally being able to knock out players is not, contrary to what a lot of chimps think, a good thing. The bump itself wasn't that bad at all though.

If you have something constructive to add then feel free to do so but to just display your jealousy that A. you are never going to be that good and B. you wish he played for your side is just pathetic.
