Another dumb thing from the AFL, having a bye round over the long weekend. Games on Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun and Monday and having one game short. Dopey!


Its better than previous years when there was only 6 games over that weekend,

I actually like the bye spread over 5 weeks, it essentially still gives a full compliment of time slots for each weekend. The preference is obviously one week off for everyone but this years system is far better than previous years.

Three clubs have no representatives.

Richmond OK

Third club. ?.

Took me by surprise but upon reflection fair enough. Have a guess.

The recent (very good) appointments have probably taken the heat off the AFL for the moment

I can see Harley being the next CEO - probably sooner than later
