My question is. If the crows are banned from the first two rounds of national draft.

What if next year Talia (hypothetical scenario we don't need crows goobers stating "Talias contracted for next year" ) decided he wanted to go home and Western Bulldogs offer pick 4 for his services.

Can the crows trade their way back into the first two rounds. Or will the bulldogs best offer be a round three pick .

Isnt that draft tampering?

No it's free agency.

and for the hater/trolls......

Where will the money come from?

Well they don't have to pay Tippett $700k next year will that cover the fine for you

Yeah, that's how it works.

so should the AFL also pay all the clubs the extra money they currently give to GC GWS Power Bulldogs?

No, because the AFL don't own them

So did the sanfl give power any extra money in the past that the crows didn't get?

That wasn't to pay for a fine

Oh ok so you can now win the rising star award one year and be a free agent the next sorry didn't know the AFL had changed those rules

no anger here at all very happy to live with whatever the AFL feel the need to give or take away from the crows. Very happy looking forward to the next few years.

Anger is with the trolls and those who think the AFC is the only club to have ever made mistakes and should be wiped off the face of the planet.

Might also be worth waiting to hear the full story before passing judgment on AFC and Tippett. All we know about it is what has been leaked to the media.

"Leaked" to the media?

I would think Rob Chapman at a press conference saying we are going to forfeit our first two picks in this weeks draft as a "jesture of goodwill" is more than a leak.

Why else would you give up draft picks then?

Sorry if you are a little confused about what I have said but its ok I know you a port supporter.

I didn’t claim that the AFC are innocent or guilty of any of the charges the AFL have charged them with. I have simply said that we do not know the full story of what happened between the AFC and Tippett. Clearly some on here (funny that most are port supporters) seem to know exactly what happened and all that the media has reported has been correct.

I am quite happy to say the AFC is guilty. Guilty of being stupid!
