Nope only rumoured by a few media sources at this stage.

My question is. If the crows are banned from the first two rounds of national draft.

What if next year Talia (hypothetical scenario we don't need crows goobers stating "Talias contracted for next year" ) decided he wanted to go home and Western Bulldogs offer pick 4 for his services.

Can the crows trade their way back into the first two rounds. Or will the bulldogs best offer be a round three pick .

My understanding is picks provided in trades can be used, but picks cannot be on traded.

With free agency and compensation worked via a complex formula known via afl.

Best of luck afc!! Youre going to need it

This doesnt make sense, AFC has an extra 700k in the salary cap with tippet moving on, so free agency will be good for AFC in the next year.

But with all your side deals to be included in your salary cap in future will that leave much? Danger, VB and Mullet might use it all up!! /jokes :P

If the Crows get a $500K fine which will be paid by their owners, the SANFL, it would only be fair if the SANFL give their other team a payment of the same value.

Why should the Crows get $500K from the SANFL and not the Power

I've heard a rumour that their "penalty" may be at the other end of the spectrum - ie. very little at all, taking into account their removal from last week's draft.

I'd be very disappointed if they got off easy. If the Crows just get a fine, it will be a kick in the guts for the sanfl.

This depends on whether the SANFL actually kick in the funds to pay the fine or whether the Crows are forced to fund it out of their own footy budgets.

I would have thought the whole point of the fine is to restrict or penalize the club not create a situation where the SANFL just bails them out.

If I am the SANFL I say to the Crows you cut something out of your budget or go to the bank.
In between signatures .....

No, because the AFL don't own them

So did the sanfl give power any extra money in the past that the crows didn't get?
