Only the players know whether or not they want to be part of a successful football club, work hard and take their chance when they get it or leave and get given games at Clubs like Brisbane or Carlton for example. That’s what makes good sides, when injuries occur, blokes can step in and get the job done (Geelong and Hawks premiership era’s perfect examples). Don’t think the Crows would be unhappy about having 6-10 blokes in the ressies ready to go if required! Couple may be squeezed out or choose to leave for more opportunity at season end but that’s a credit to the recruitment and development staff IMO.

Serious win Saturday night in Perth. I don’t believe we played that well for the first half but out pressure around the contest was exceptional in the last half which one us the game. To keep a side to only 3 inside 50’s in a quarter and scoreless was huge for our midfield group!

Big selection dilemma after the bye, B Crouch a massive chance to return. Douglas again under the pump IMO.

Wanna talk about unfairness in the draw? What about only travelling once in their last 8 games and that's of their choosing as its to Hobart.

Classic north Melbourne. Complain about not getting "their" Friday night games. When they get them, they complain about 6 day breaks.

Not sure if you're trolling or just plain stupid
6 day breaks are inevitable
8 in a season is ridiculous
2 in a row against a team coming off the bye is a massive disadvantage
If you're going to schedule a Thursday night game, common sense would be to allocate it to both teams coming off a bye
I don't think I can dumb it down any more.

Reckon if you asked north they would prefer two consecutive games with national coverage than eliminating a 6 day break

Benny, do some research on past draws & have a look at interstate scheduling.

Once again, 3 games in 12 days v 12 day break - farcical.

I've always thought that teams coming off the bye should be playing other teams coming off the bye. Common sense & the AFL really don't go together though.

What can you do though? If he goes because other clubs throw the kitchen sink at him well sorry folks and all the best Josh. He's 28 years old and as we all know most big blokes start going backwards as they approach 30 years of age. He's not like he can go up the ground and we have seen what happens at Port and blokes like Cloke when you sign them up for longer than you should.

In saying that I think he will stay, just don't get bent over in the process.

He's implying when you sign up people long term and they don't deliver...prob thinking Hartlett from earlier in the year.
IMO he will stay. That's the impression I got from his interview with purple at the airport. He said he wants to stay if the club wants him there and his missus is happy in Adelaide.

Lobbe was another example off the top of my head Boon. Unless you're a dead set superstar with plenty of years in the tank it's dangerous to sign up ok to good players on long term contracts. If something goes off then you're stuck with them.
