You seem very "finger on the pulse" re all things at Essendon, Pirate. Do you have any inside knowledge or are you just a supporter/member - if that?

Ahh Spargo, I just have a keen interest and love for all things to do with our wonderful game.

Gorringe + 16 to Essendon, Ryder to Port, picks to Gold Coast ?
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Wont happen. Essendon first is 20, so they aint going to give that away (especially when no one wants to go there). Port's second pick is 37, GC already have 3 picks before that so that isn't going to interest them. Also Gorringe has to agree to go to Essendon which I can't see happening.

Do you want both Ryder and gorringe? I reckon you have a pimp list as it is but would take both if possible.

Gorringe and Bass have a really good friendship. Will take something like that or big $$ to get anyone over to us currently.
Not sure we have the picks for Gorringe though
Reckon he will end up with Paddy at Port

Maybe not. Gorringe is looking for game time. Fair to say he will get that or a fair bit of it at Essendon regardless of how this plays out. I think he is a big chance to go there, if Essendon can get a deal done with the Gold Coast.

so I don't think it will all be about $$$ in the end.

No, with all the problems going on he was very seriously considering not going around again. Wouldnt of blamed him if he had decided enough was enough and retired
