Tippett and Franklin won't beat too many teams on their own.
Mumford, White, Lamb, Everitt and Armstrong all gone or going, Kennedy and Hanneberry out next year, can the last one to leave turn out the lights :D
Must be a great culture up there, 5 blokes cant get out of there quick enough and 2 selfish mercenaries coming in.
Not sure what the new ass coach can teach Tippett and Franklin, certainly not how to kick or make good decisions

c'mon mate, you're not even trying anymore... that's even an average attempt in your standards :D

I'm sure Melbourne supporters feel the same way about Rivers. ;-)

Aren't the Crows going after Edwards?

On the radio they said McLeod told Noble to get Edwards this morning.

Apparently the crows were offered Edwards and Aylett and declined as they were only after Edwards. Essendon swooped and picked them both up.

This from the Crows:
Adelaide Crows @Adelaide_FC
Unfortunately we couldn't get Shaun Edwards. We wanted a deal for Shaun on his own but couldn't reach an agreement with GWS to this effect

Means the Crows would have had to delisted another player to accomodate Aylett but they dont have enough uncontracted players to delist.

Reckon Aylett is a dud anyway

Probably is a dud Brodlach- would he be worth recruiting though given you will inherit a player who could fill a gap at the expense of someone like a tambling?

Think they need to delist 3 players still and the only uncontracted players ATM are Callianan, Joyce and Tambling so all three will more than likely go

May well turn out to be a dud but GWS must of initially seen something in him to offer him a 4 year deal. Was in top 5% at his draft camp, serious knee injury saw him miss over a year so its a risk no doubt but we really wanted Edwards so we had to take both.

So 2 blokes that were going to be delisted have joined your club, pretty sure they wernt in a position to be picky.
They also know they are assured of AFL games when the suspensions are handed down
