Is Clarkson the super coach everyone thinks he is or the list of Mitchell, Hodge, Roughhead Burgoyne , Rioli etc make him look better than he really is?

Not being critical of him, just a thought

I've raised it myself on here, a coach is just one cog, an important one obviously, in a massive machine and to think Clarkson will have a magic wand at his next club is interesting. He may, but who knows?

I think you have to. It sells hope to the members. He will be regarded as one of the best coaches of all time. He will surround himself with the right people, he is not a fool. They cant afford to try another untried coach. Imagine if Collingwood had lost half those close games they would be 10th and people would look at McRae differently to what they are currently.

How does Dudoro survive Jim? I read a lot of BF club boards and Bomber fans have been calling for his head for years. Surely the members are doing the same??

given he built that list at hawthorn and his tactical nouse, he is a very good coach. he can come coach geelong anytime. $2mill per year. bugger the soft cap, just pay the tax
whatever job he takes is atleast a 5year job.

Or if you're GWs get an "ambassadorial" grant from the AFL to outbid any other franchise (allegedly before the commission tomorrow according to afl.com.au)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Surely when you see the writing on the wall its time to move on.

when was the last time a coach had the guts to say, "This aint working, I'm outta here"

Probably been a few but cant recall them right now.

Ruttens a dead man walking, he will get the boot seasons end, perhaps right now he should gracefully put his hand up and say bye i'm outta here
