People talk about an exodus out of Essendon, but what is going on at Geelong?

Lonergan offered a longer deal by the Bullies. Bundy has had some, erm, problems with the ladies and his Missus wants him out of Geelong and we tried to piss that spud off Varcoe but no one was silly enough to take him. This year he laid a tackle in the finals and that was enough to interest Collingwood and the Weagles.

Next question please.

Reckon this could get ugly.
Will be interesting to see what happens next and if this clause would stand up.
The AFL would be trying to get a deal done, dont think they want this going to court, if Essendon choose to fight it through the courts Ryder could be out of the game for 12 months which no one wants to see.

I think it will stand up and I don't think Essendon will even fight it when it comes to the crunch. If they are innocent like they say, they wouldn't have gone to court. Why would they pay out all that money to lawyers and have the entire drag out if they are innocent. If they have nothing to hide why wouldn't they fight the sc notices and prove they are innocent. Why would they sack Dean Robinson and blame him for it all, when they haven't done anything wrong. Essendon have done everything (until recently) to not face the sc notices, which says they are guilty and they know it.
We're on this journey together, One Heart, One Club and they will Never Ever Tear Us Apart.

Won the Copeland at 22 and polled 16 brownlow votes this year. Hasn't even hit his peak.

Will mainly be a loss because he was the best inside clearance player at the club. Probably why we jumped at Greenwood.

You are right he is a very very good footballer.

Interesting to see how this develops. Not looking good for either club ATM

If he is having trouble keeping the pee pee in the tee pee at Geelong then shit Brisbane and the GC will be a disaster.

O'Rourke & 43 to Hawks for 19 & 40
the strong keep getting stronger...my lord what a dud deal for GWS
effectively trading a pick 2 for pick 19

Was just thinking that.

Maybe they got it terribly wrong when they drafted him, or the quality in the draft that year was low.

Fair depreciation over short period of time

Hasn't done enought to justify being a pick 2 yet, so probably the best they could get GWS.

Watch the Hawks develop him into a champ now though!
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
