The hearing, at which the Crows, club officials and Tippett were set to face allegations of draft tampering and breaches of player payment rules, was set to take place on Monday.

It has now been adjourned until a yet-to-be-determined date, expected to be in December.

Is this because of the VB revelations?

crows have requested the delay to allow for more time to collect submissions.

Also heard all three parties will be representing themselves separately.. gonna get messy!

I wonder if we can delist Tippett now?

So what are they gonna do with us if we can now use our draft picks? Take the players off us 2 weeks later?

Maybe this will be delayed so long we will end up losing picks in the 2023 draft

With this delay would the AFL delay the draft sanctions til 2013 & beyond or with the new timing of the hearing could the AFL possibly end up docking premiership points in this upcoming season?

Would have to be premiership points for this year if found guilty. Can't have salary cap cheats winning a flag 10 months after being found guilty.

Emma Quayle 100% sticking by her claim according to her twitter account.

Well it must be true the media never get it wrong. The same media outlet that say his 3rd party payment s are $100K $200K $300K and Balfours payed him $30K $40K $50K but can’t say what amounts are correct.

Emma Quayle said on 5aa that she hasn’t seen the infamous emails but her sources are reliable yet they report a different figure each time. Even Wilson mentions different amounts to Quayle and they work for the same paper.

Pretty sad thing to do to a club especially when you know your career has ended and your retiring!

My mail is Reidy didn't want to sign him or do the deal, Trigg made him. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Crows in trouble - CHEATS

Postby Hondo » Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:38 pm

Caro reporting on a third party deal being scrutinized at another club. No wrong doing suggested that I could see. Just that it is being scrutinized.

Eddie is quoted in the article saying words to the effect that if the AFL want to go hard on the Crows they need to look hard across the whole comp.

Reckon these third party deals are going to turn into a can of worms.

Would not be a great move by the crows IMO. The crows are looking at getting banned for a few drafts, well the first few rounds at least, and this draft allows them to plug a hole that could come up in the next few years when the sanctions are in place. Basically what I'm saying is Adelaide need to be looking at the best key defender for there first round pick. Midfield is probably good and young enoug to be ok with Crouch to come in.

Alsi I still reckon Kennedy will go around 12 - 16 ish.
