Port/Roos - time for another Bitch slap?

Talk on the national game

A great comment by another Roo fan -

"If Leigh Brown uses ice after a game then its the biggest waste of our natural resource recorded to date"

SD...Im on a Roos forum and Ive defended Brown penty of times but they keep bagging him, now I know where they are coming from...yesterday he made a few good strong leads but just before the ball arrived he took a coupld of fairy steps which allowed Crones to spoil...his attack on the ball just inst good enough...had a good year in 2005 at full back, much better running at the ball and not having to turn corners IMO...worst thing is we have signed him for 2 years :roll:

on another point 5AA comparing Burgoyne to Judd and Kerr...FFS give me a break

Dont worry Dutchy I stuck it to you before,during and after!!!

dutchy i agree with most of your comments but this one here as got me shaun burgoyne after this year will have superstar statis he is an out and out star mate i'v backed him for the brownlow at 61/1 i believe he is now in to 15/1 on about the 3rd or 4th line of betting .
probabley not as good as judd yet but i think he could be but kerr yeah i see them in the same sort of mold.

and as for the archer talk i seen him single handedly save at least 4 or 5 port movements forward inside the 50m .
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Archer played a very good game and put himself in some very good poistions in the back lines and saved at least 3 or 4 goals.

Clearly you Roo blokes are aiming at the wrong prize.

My post from before the game Dutchy.Hope you're not including me in that horrible list of Port fans who only sprouted off after we beat you. :lol:

Current Premiership Odds

Power $ 11.00
Kangroos $201.00 (Rank Outsider)

Seeing that Finals matches r the only ones that really count, When was the last time the Roos won a final against the Power? Let alone anyone else?

Theres a lot of talk about the PA v NM record, but heres a few interesting ones too.

PA v Carl = 11-3
PA v Ess = 10-6
PA v Fre = 12-5
PA v Haw = 11-4
PA v WC = 9-5
PA v WB = 11-4

Good record against some of the big teams in the comp.

Kangas win% against some teams.
Melb = 41.61
Geel = 40.21
Carl = 34.51
Ess = 34.40
Coll = 32.16

NM have a winning record against 5 teams, one is Fitzroy.

GATTING as good as PIETERSON
REILLY better than DAL SANTO
BURGOYNE as good as JUDD

My turn now

Aaron KEATING is a better ruckman than Dean COX

I dont see your point here?

Carlton, Essendon, Freo, Hawthorn, Bulldogs - All "Big" teams in the comp? :shock: not since your club was formed in '97, since then these teams have spent more time in the bottom 8 than the top :lol:

All im saying is there is always a lot of talk about Ports record against your team, but noone mentions our dominant record against some of the other teams.

Out of the 14 times we have played you, 9 of them have been in Melbourne or Canberra. If we were to have played you a few more times at footy park, the record would be closer.

13-4 is still a better record than any of your records against other teams, anyway lets move on hey?

To rub salt into the wound I went to the Power media launch this morning in Rundle Mall via my employer, having to run shoulders with Tredders, Pearce etc made me throw up!...I was wearing my Roos boxers though :wink:

Wait until you see what the Power will have roaming across the oval before each home game for the rest of a season....its a big fist with a thunderbolt thru it and it goes up and down...very erotic! :lol: ... man the Crows fans are going to have fun with this one!

:D Ah the joys of having a mascot that doesn't relate to a something tangible or real. You end up with a man with a lightning head or the erotic image Dutchy is describing. Or, worse still, Captain Blue :wink: (there's no tongue in cheek emoticon I can find ...)

Overall Port didnt play as well as they could have and the roos arnt the rabbit in the head lights people think they are, and you right dutchy, last week, its only one round. But the next time you win a game at subi, please feel free to celebrate.

just lost all credability with the Archer comment, you fool, you pick out one error, what about the goal saving tackle in the 2nd 1/4? 13 possies is fairly servicable day let alone hs influence with the young kids.

As for Subi we have won 2 of our last 4 there and 7 of 15 overall, pretty good i would have thought....try again, you have failed miserabley so far :lol: :lol:

Mate i didnt actually say you have never won, i said next time you win feel free to celebrate, I know there are big words in there but try a bit harder.
