You're right, good pick up.

Other than Burgoyne, McEvoy, Lake, Gibson, Guerra, Croad, Hale, Frawley, Gunston (all Premiership players) and Mitchell (Brownlow Medalist ) Wingard, O'Meara, Scully and Impey who have they ever picked up?

I thought Sam Gray lifted a notch this year, has always been one of the more frustrating players on our list though, I'm happy for them to let him go.

Could say that about 4 or 5 of them who played in premierships.

One of the last ( with Lycett ) Port Adelaide zone recruits playing at Port Adelaide, another little piece of history dies but it is what it is.

From a playing point of view, does he make Geelong, Brisbane, Richmond, Collingwood or West Coast's side? No, so if we want to be a top 4 side then he's the type of player who we need to move on to get better.

Point is Hawthorn haven't ever had issues attracting the players they want, your crack was off the mark.

He probably would be an asset to one of them clubs, he always seemed like a downhill skier to me, his stats in wins far outweigh his stats in losses.
