You get what you deserve. Essendeon havent gone forward all day. in the history of the last 10 years no one has beaten Hawthorn playing that way

Interesting thread. Carlton (of all) fans talking about how Geelong aren't good to watch and the usual suspects lining up crapping on about how crap we are. But we've just beaten the so called best list in the land when we've both got about ten players out each. Hang on, I thought we didn't have any depth? Meanwhile Port minus Hartlett, Rocky and SPP are currently getting their arses handed to them in Perth. Cats nearly won over there a month ago with one on the bench.

If we can go 50-50 until a few key players come me back we can go deep into the finals. Not a bad effort considering our injury list. Some of the kids who have been exposed to league footy in the last two years will go on to be regulars in future Cat teams. Only Zuthrie is a worry at this stage. We do need a ruckman though and that should be Wells' number one priority.

We're slow compared to the slick midfields.

Just like us you targeted the wrong players in the offseason. Did make me laugh when all the so called experts declared Port and Essendon as having a great trade period. It was pretty obvious to see neither really fixed their deficiencies

Geelong will be there at the pointy end of the season, and for years to come.

Carlton continuing to set new records

Last week was their first 0-6 start in history

This week they're the first team to wear double denim on the field
