Really? I wouldn't even have him in any conversation for AA this season whatsoever (not backed up by stats, just from what I've seen).

I'd have Rampe in too (probably instead of Howe), but has perhaps missed too much footy

Thought Dahlhaus kept the dogs going in the first half of the season along with the Bont. Had a lean couple of weeks. The games i watched closely of the dogs, i thought he was their best each time

I think I'll follow my gut and go with

Garlett > Betts > Gray > Ronnie Burns

Ronnie Burns. The amount of throws he got away with was amazing. :D How for AA because he can take a bit mark LOL.

Lynch should but tough competition in his role to hold out true midfielders who they need to find spots for.
Talia possibly, but will likely miss with Rance and Hurley playing better.

I don't think Talia is close this year at all. Rance, Hurley, Grundy, McGovern ( WC ) and McDonald ( Melb ) are all ahead of him IMO.

Rance.....Hurley & Tarrant.....daylight to the rest

But is he wrong?
Tex would currently be a million miles from AA selection let alone be skipper.

He is third in the Coleman right now.

Daniher franklin and Cameron ahead of him but it won't surprise me if he makes the squad of 40.

Ryder got a lesson from big Maxy today, will severely dent his AA chances
Can pencil Jeffy in after his performance today and Betts last night, another goal less performance against a good team

I prefer to trust my gut than see meaningless stats, he has a long history of going missing in the big matches against real quality opposition

28 goals in the first 9 rounds and 13 in the next 9 rounds. Hasn't scored more than 2 in a game for 7 rounds so it has dried up a little for him
