Absolute farce the weekend off and the AFL have to admit they got this one terribly wrong.
Us fans hate it but it sounds like the coaches like it. Some clubs will be able to play guys this week who they might not have been able to use last weekend.
Of course they all love it. We'd all like our sides being cherry ripe for the finals. But it never happens.
Once again the AFL have seriously flawed the history of the game.
Every season there is a hard luck story of good teams not being able to get back their injured stars for finals, or rushing in underdone folks, dropping an unlucky player etc, and other sides battling for a portion of the year but clicking at the right time.
If we want every side to have their best lineup in the finals, scrap the season and play the GF in Round 1.
