A sedulous analysis of Round 16

Charlie Dixon did all the good things, then looks to argue with the umpire for not getting 50. Get on with it you idiot. Guy is a dead set buffoon and could be a good player if he just stopped being a sook or trying to be a tough guy.

Umpire tells Westhoff he saw the ball hit the ground except he was standing on the wrong side to see it. So basically guessed.
Why do teams not just get someone to go stand next to Hodge or Gibson when they stand loose in the back half . They carve you up.

3 possibilities here -

1. The Players on the ground are dumb as dog shit
2. The Coaching staff have no clue
3. All of the above

Why do sides bother trying to get physical with the Hawks?

Interesting quarter as a spectator.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Terrible both ways. I have never seen a game of AFL footy where the umprire calls "too far" right on 15 steps. If they were consistent with that all night it would have been paid 10 times already. Also dead set incorrect disposal from Broadbent in defensive 50.

How soft have Port been, every time they cop a knock they staydown or go off the ground for 5 minutes, just toughhen up, mentally weak and that sums up the difference between the two, that and a gap in talent the size of the Grand Canyon.

Umpires have been ordinary against us as well, dont see our players sooking though

First centre bounce of the Quarter- Mitchell wins the centre clearance handballing backwards to Hodge who has run off the line. Neade his direct opponent is casually trailing him, simply not good enough defensively, can't let Hodge get in front of him off the line.
