Carlton are arrogant, Collingwood is obnoxious, but Essendon's sanctimosity is nauseating.

Who would you consider a bigger cheat Lance Armstrong or Michael Phelps.

Surely there is a difference between someone who takes performance enhancing drugs and one who was addicted to recreational drugs which would have been more likely to decrease his performance.

if i remember correctly cousin said it enhanced his performance, he used it as something to train and play harder and use it as his reward. At the start it more then likely had no effect on his performance as the effects would of worn off by the time he was back at training, i think he was even putting in extra session.

the thing I think people are forgetting is WADA don't just put a ban on a substance because it's "performance enhancing", usually it's because there are side effects to the substance that can effect the players health. Look at steroids do you really think they would be a banned substance if they had 0 side effects? look at asbestos, old tradies machining it ail a smoke hanging out their mouth, while surround by asbestos dust. No one back then knew what it would do in the long run. Same with this AOD how do we know watson isn't going to have organ failure in 2-3 years.

I have heard a couple Collingwood players interviewed today saying it was a danger game against Port. It's what you would say before playing Melbourne or GWS
FFS they are one position below you, how bout giving Port some respect.
Thats the Collingwood arrogance for you and after tomorrow they will be below Port

If Milne came out and said yeah i raped the girl he would be in gaol by now, whats the difference???

Piss weak from the AFL

One of your best posts. The watson blowjob last night was sickening. He took a banned substance and admitted it. True to form on any drugs issue the AFL did nothing. The guy should have been suspended. It doesnt matter if hes a good bloke or a good footballer or even if he didnt know the substance was banned.

Steve Johnson got two matches for laying a bump but Watson admits to using a banned substance and its crickets from AFL House. This is the reason the fans booed last night but the worst thing about the whole situation is that he sets the example for the younger Bombers. An example that was duly followed it seems.

The AFL have been sweeping drugs under the carpet for a decade and this is the sorry result. Good job Vlad. NOT.

You do realise the only one that can suspend him is ASADA not the AFL.

I thought the AFL could suspend him, but if ASADA deemed the penalty too light they would jump in with one of their own?
