How good are Geelong? Short breaks yet somehow always seem to find a way to win.

Cats 19.10 (124)
Swans 16.7 (103)

Joel Selwood led his side to victory with his relentless attack on the footy, racking up 30 touches - 17 of them contested. Mathew Stokes continued his renaissance as a midfielder to have 31 disposals, including two goals while the inventive Steven Motlop, three goals, was also among the Cats' best. The Swans midfield faded in the second half.

Umpire made a mistake. I'm sure the AFL will say it was incorrect.

The rule is to stop people sliding in and taking the legs.....it was the correct decision.

The bloke dropped his knees into mglynn to initiate the contact.

Smart move on his behalf.

Yep here comes a generation of footballers who are happy to be second to the contest, looking for either a player to make contact with their legs or wait for the opposition to grab the ball and then get them pinged for holding the ball.

Hopefully my bests mates who are Swans supporters see this but I've never rated the Swans, the last minor round game last year showed me the difference between the Cats and Sydney when we flogged them, I honestly think they've fluked 2 premierships by just being in the right place at the right time with some amazing luck falling their way and encountering matchups that suit in cut throat matches.
I really respect them as a club and they're my 2nd favourite team but very overrated IMHO.
Let the canning commence....
