They didn't play bad games, there defenders just stopped them from having any impact.

Hocking was fantastic tonight, Dangerfield had plenty of it in the first few minutes, credit to Hirdy for makng the move so early.

Hocking played well but had plenty of help. Good coaching by Hird but not for the reason you mentioned.

Agree WC are abit overrated but think they will enough games in WA to really push the top 4 especially if they have the GWS, GC, Melb and WB away on top of the homes games.

By overrated i mean most of the 'experts' on all the Foxtel footy shows are claiming their certain Grand Finalists and will be playing one of Coll, Syd, Haw.

I dont think anyone is close to been a certain GF side at any stage of the year.

With the guys that are out the first 8 games will be fairly easy or them to navigate through though, Hawthorn at home and Carlton at home only real threat. The other games are Melbourne, port, bulldogs, Brisbane and north which they would go in as favourite against all I would think, injuries now won't hurt them as much as injuries later in the season due to the draw.
