Hocking was fantastic tonight, Dangerfield had plenty of it in the first few minutes, credit to Hirdy for makng the move so early.

Hocking played well but had plenty of help. Good coaching by Hird but not for the reason you mentioned.

Think we are watching two of the better sides this year.

Freo doing well to be so close considering how unfit and out of touch the Pav looks.

WCE are a top 5 side, but I think are a little over-rated, given a quite a few in media have selected them to win the flag.

Naitanui will make a significant difference when he returns, so with him him, they could do anything admittedly.

Cripps just kicked a very good goal for WCE, but Freo just replied. Freo 4 goals up, 17 mins to go in 4th.

Agree WC are abit overrated but think they will enough games in WA to really push the top 4 especially if they have the GWS, GC, Melb and WB away on top of the homes games.

That would be unfair. Especially after posting they are over rated straight after a loss to another top 4 contender.

By overrated i mean most of the 'experts' on all the Foxtel footy shows are claiming their certain Grand Finalists and will be playing one of Coll, Syd, Haw.

I dont think anyone is close to been a certain GF side at any stage of the year.

but losing to Freo will be no disgrace by the end of the year i really really really rate this side.

Your man Michael Walters is an excitement machine to go with a jet midfield.

I based it on more than tonight's loss.

Quite a few in the media seem to be predicting them to win the flag, personally I don't see them quite at that level.

I well and truley see them as a grand finalist as long as they can keep fit. You got kerr naitanui wellingham and nicoski to come back into that side.
We're on this journey together, One Heart, One Club and they will Never Ever Tear Us Apart.

With the guys that are out the first 8 games will be fairly easy or them to navigate through though, Hawthorn at home and Carlton at home only real threat. The other games are Melbourne, port, bulldogs, Brisbane and north which they would go in as favourite against all I would think, injuries now won't hurt them as much as injuries later in the season due to the draw.

I don't think their midfield is good enough to win it.
