-finals time (big big big crowds, love big stadiums and big crowds)
-players such as GAblett, Franklin, Hodge, Bartel etc
-interest in how Central players are going and hope they succeed
-supercoach
-on Sunday afternoon its beats watching '4 weddings' or '16 & Pregnant'

Robert Walls on 5AA tonight reminded me of a little thing that pisses me off about that I have forgotten, being shown a replay of a recent passage of play when the game is still going and still in motion. Replays should only be played when there's a goal kicked, at quarter time, half time, 3 quarter time, after the game and when there's a long stoppage of play, not when the games still going FFS!

I also don't like when players get interviewed at the quarter breaks, must be the most annoying thing in the world when you're running off spent after busting your nut for 25 mins and some knobhead is shoving a microphone in your face and asking you question after question while you're trying to get to the rooms. If that was me I'd tell them to f**k off!

Mark Ruciutos article on Adelaide Now about the need for umpires to penalise taggers so the gun players arent getting suspended for retaliating. If you cant handle the heat, get out of the kitchen. If you're any good, you're gonna get unwanted attention, deal with it.

Gary Ablett tweeting about Crowley also pissed me off, because he was implying that Crowley was only playing defensive. But I watched that game, and he did a massive job of keeping Juddy quiet, while at the same time kicking 3 goals on Juddy. Fair effort if you ask me. Played both ways.

I think little old Gaz is just spewing that he took the cash to go to a side thats going to struggle, and no one really talks about him, or cares what he's doing because hes not in the Melbourne scene anymore.

Good post HH .. Fair enough if Tagger's (as with any player) actually violate rules, but if the gun onballers can't handle constant attention and niggle then that's a deficiency in their own make up that they have to address.

Agree with you both. Blokes like Ablett and Judd get attention every week yet still gather 30+ touches with ease. Times get tough for the ball magents when some like Crowley does a good job and they cry foul.

Perhaps Ablett needs to accept that sometimes, just sometimes a man can beat you one on one whilst remaining inside the rules. Not sure Gaz would deal with that very well.

Sure, if the leech goes outside the rules penalise them but if they stay out of the umpires radar and get the job done then well done to them.
