i think the cats are the better wet weather side, the weather will not change my tip

i just looked at a weather web site 100% chance of 10 to 15mm on wed 15 to 25 mm on thurs and 5 to 10 mm on fri then 70% chance of 5 to 10 mm grand final day with winds 7 knots from SE around 7 oclock, increasing through out the day to 18 knots from the SE around 4 oclock

Heard Jolly and Reid both trained today so good signs there for the Pies, but has anyone heard anything on Johnson and how he is going?

Reckon Geelong will be too good in this one, will be a tight contest for much of the game though, until the Cats run away with it! :D

Was happy being fairly close to the front not undercover when I first found out where our tickets are, the way this weather is heading not so sure now! Hail?!
Only positive is it sounds like good old fashion Kardinia Park weather on its way to the MCG! Cats are usually superb in the wet. ;)

Stevie trained on track with the boys today so will play Saturday.

Geelong by 6 goals with Harry Taylor or Scarlett to get Norm Smith! Would've been a bigger margin if it wasn't for the crappy weather.

6 Goals in the wet? Unlikely. Like 2009 this one will be close..hopefully with the same result. Otto for Normie.

David King posed an interesting question last night on AFL 360, who do the pies take in as their sub if they punt on ben reid?

Surely this puts Tyson Goldsack in the equation over Dayne Beams.....will be interesting to see the final sides.

Ah yes David 'Geelong are no chance for the flag' King. Collingwood is his last hope. He had Hawthorn and even Carlton ahead of us as premiership contenders and last week he grudgingly selected the Cats by five points over a sore West Coast side coming off a slogging Semi Final while we had the week off.

I hope we stick it right up that bloke.

Yeah not sure what kingy has against the cats......was humerous viewing actually.....king on one hand cant mention geelong and victory in the same sentence and mark maclure can't even say the word collingwood. Either way it will be a classic GF imo

I'm pretty sure he picked West Coast last week on AFL360. He is a flogger and refuses to give the Cats any credit whatsoever.

Yeah didn't see AFL360 last week, my comment was from a preview he wrote in Inside Football. Little wonder he changed his tip a day or so later.
