I'd be up for that. Ellis is still paper thin (why can't this guy bulk up?), but he can find the footy and he is skilled. Look at the 2008 GF!!

Hondo wrote:On 5AA the other night they were talking Armstrong to Sydney in return for Sumner (a small forward formerly of SA)

Seriously, I swear they read my post on BigFooty where I brought him up, and since then everyone seems to be running with it. Me= gun.

If we could get Daniel Connors I'd be stoked. Kid has serious, serious potential., but obviously its the stuff away from the field that is cause for concern.

I did notice in my Twitter feed over grand final weekend that a Daniel Connors was having a ripping time with Tex Walker, Bernie Vince, Jared Petrenko and Sam Fisher in Melbourne. Maybe something is already happening on that front.

I reckon Adelaide are better placed to get him as part of a 3 way trade for Gunston. What does Hawthorn have that West Coast might want?

West coast want another key defender. With glass coming to an end if his career and Mitch brown injury prone, they want another one

Could a Jordan Lisle and Gunston swap be considered? Promising Key target, limited opportunity in the Hwks FWD line, which is suprising why Jack wants to go there.

I reckon would be something def worth trying

Get a bit more size and a full pre season in to him and we are on a winner I think. That would release Jeansch up the field as a link up and use his delivery going in to the forward line. I think we will see our big guys kicking more goals with better delivery coming in.

Clinton Young may now be an option in a trade with Jack Gunston.

Apparently there is a glitch on the AFL site which allows someone to go on and change a player to another club. Last week Goddard was on the Carlton website according to 5AA.

So - Crows fans happy with the Gunston trade? It wasn't super, but the best we were going to get with GWS all over this years draft.

Has to be part of a 2 or 3 trade strategy I reckon. There's news that Adelaide are close to a deal with GWS to get a pick in the 17 yr old mini draft.

Still reckon Adelaide need to come out of the trade period with an established player as well though.
