Hey i said earlier the positives of the hype are that we get more members to sign on. Im happy for us to keep winning in the NAB cup because it prevents us from playing practice matches at crapholes like visy park, thebarton, alice springs or lavington wherever the **** that is

Definitely better for your mob, but i wouldnt get carried away with the fact that your going to make the 8 or anything like that. The best thing that playing in the NAB cup still, is that you avoid GWS.

If Richmond get GWS in the last week of the Challenge, i would be spewing

Yep whoever gets them in last match is at a real disadvantage for the season proper.
Dont think anyones getting carried away yet, although wouldnt take much to be a better season than last year

hahahaha Essendon wins tonight. Who cares what that means? Any win is better than a loss. StKilda haven't won a decent game since 1966 so get that!

Good win tonight, practice match or not its great beating those tossers.
And for those who ridicule the NAB cup, id rather be playing in a half decent hitout against good oppisition then playing GWS or some other side at a country oval.

Is it just me or is Leroy Jetta setting himself up for a breakout year? Outstanding form.

when he came back from injury last year and broke into the essendon line up, he had some great games, where he showed a lot of potential. looks like his form has carried on throughout the preseason.

FFS what else is there other than a GF? Its how teams are measured by sponsors and they are the lifeblood of the game.

Just say "grand final" then. If you reckon the only "decent" wins you have a grand finals, then that's fine, but that wasn't my understanding.

Didn't mean to offend. I suppose the wins you get on the way to a gf are important too.

If the rumours I heard last night about your new coach are true I'd suggest the bombers season could be in trouble before it's even started.
